The Tunisian Institute for Strategic StudiesCreated by virtue of the law of October 25, 1993 as a public institution, the Tunisian Institute for Strategic Studies, headquartered in Tunis, assumes a mission of research, study, analysis and short and long-term prospecting on all questions pertaining to events and developments at the national and international levels, which are likely to be related to the process of development of Tunisian society in all the political, economic, social and cultural fields; the aim being to explain these issues and anticipate their evolution. The Institute also examines all questions submitted to it as part of this mission. The Institute, whose creation proceeds from the importance attached by the President of the Republic to prospecting and anticipation, is in charge of : - collecting and assessing strategic studies and data;
- developing various working tools allowing it to accomplish its mission, particularly databanks and documentation;
- establishing relations with institutions, bodies, universities and research centers in Tunisia and aboard;
- Organizing meetings and seminars bringing together Tunisian and foreign experts.
